Free birth influencer Yolande Norris-Clark is promoting an anonymous conspiracy-mongering text dating back to 2002 called “The Secret Covenant.” She read it aloud to her 33K Instagram followers on April 3rd, and posted it to YouTube the same day.

Norris-Clark, who goes by @bauhauswife on Instagram and Telegram, has been a leading voice in the “Pastel Q” movement, in which wellness influencers feminize and launder macabre right wing conspiracy content for mass consumption. Pastel Q saw exponential growth in 2020 as the pandemic intensified online wellness competition.

With the promotion of “The Secret Covenant”, which has lurked in right-wing internet armpits for decades, Norris-Clark achieves peak Pastel Q, transforming an apocalyptic nightmare into a sensuous meditative ritual, delivered in the same melodious voice with which she dispenses alt-health wisdom.

Advertising herself as a “birth educator, health coach, writer,” and “birth witness”, Norris-Clarke fits the mold of charismatic wellness influencer, presenting neither medical nor therapeutic qualifications as she falsely calls the pandemic a…
