How would a person distinguish between a thought and a feeling, in practical terms? Where does Katie's assumption that "perception" is a priori to feeling come from? I don't think CBT holds that to be true.

"If I die I will NOT leave my partner and children vulnerable" is an interesting speculation. But asking me whether it's more "true" than the original thought proposes dominating the feeling with a speculation.
