Thanks for the feedback. You might not know that I’m a cult survivor who spent six years investigating abuse in the yoga world, producing a book, etc. My empathy is in working order, but it’s not on full display in every piece, and that’s fine with me.

I will strongly disagree with you on 2 points:

  1. There is zero evidence that yoga/meditation/etc will help us move beyond capitalism in any systemic way.
  2. You are correct that I criticize Williamson’s content. But you avoid saying why. I criticize her content because it confounds the brains of progressive Democrats. It is divided into ill-informed political platitudes and teachings from a literally insane New Age Jesus book. Anyone who has to expend energy maintaining that cognitive dissonance is not available for real public service, which doesn’t move forward on faith. Worse: anyone who attracts political support through religious means will not produce clear policy.
